Paphos At Christmas
December is here once again, and the halls have all been decked with boughs of holly, or the modern day equivalent. Paphos has turned on the Christmas Bling, so we have been out and about taking festive pictures...
Twilight Scene
When we went down to Paphos we arrived just before nightfall, so I was able to give the drone a quick spin before the sunlight completely ebbed away. The christmas lights don't all come on at the same time, so if you arrive and some of them are dark then give it a few minutes.
Kennedy Square
For instance, you can see in this shot that a lot more of the trees are showing their blue lights than in the first picture.
Beautiful Trees
When we visited the first thing I did was film the scene. I missed out on these trees when I recorded my masterpiece, so I made a point of photographing them later. They are on the opposite side of the road to the rest of Kennedy Square, by the car park next to the old Police Station.
Oh and you can see the film here.
Blue Trees
I do love how the blue lights look on the trees.
Centrepiece
The tree itself is obviously the centre of attention. For some reason there is a fence around it this year, which was a shame.
