Cyprus In Pictures - July, 2025
We post daily "Kalimera" and "Kalispera" pictures to Facebook on a topical theme. I thought it would be nice to give them greater exposure, so have combined them into a monthly article. The pictures here are now viewable in their original Landscape glory. So take a look at a selection of pictures we feel summarises how July has been in our corner of Cyprus.
Walk This Way

July in Cyprus was dominated by the fires which ripped through the Limassol countryside. We covered them on Youtube and if you want to contribute to the relief fund then see this article for ways you can help. Life went on though, in the unaffected areas of Cyprus, and this article will concentrate on the happier events of the previous month. We start on Paphos Sea Front, where the stalls are doing a brisk summer trade.
Corallia

The boat moored in the sea near Corallia Beach seems to be a constant fixture at the moment. They certainly picked a nice place to stay.
Vrysoudia A

SODAP Beach is looking very nice at the moment. And the Antasia Beach Bar is very popular, especially in the evenings.
Poor Polis

The beach at Polis Campsite is a shadow of its former self though. Well, the beach is fine, but the lack of facilities will no doubt put a dent on tourism in the area. It used to be one of several blue flag beaches on the North coast of Paphos, but now there are none.
Kings Avenue Mall

I never really notice the kink in the shape of Kings Avenue Mall when I am in it, but it is quite pronounced.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
