Old Town 2022 Update - Part 3

Tall Building
I had had enough of the park now, so decided to head back towards the car. I decided to take a different route, and headed for this alley on the right. The Old Town Marks and Spencers is on the other side of the road to this, a little further up.
Balcony
Balconies have been in the news recently, for all the wrong reasons. Looking at this one, I certainly wouldn't want to stand on it.
Future Accidents?
There were a fair number of balconies in this condition. I'm not a Structural Engineer, so won't comment other than to say I think there is definitely room for improvement.
Towards The Park
I hadn't just come this way to check up on all the balconies. I wanted to see how far the roadworks came, but also I wanted to visit one of my favourite art works in Paphos
Where Is Bear In The Air?
Unfortunately, I got a shock. Bear In The Air was no longer there. This was particularly galling as I had only recently reviewed it on Google.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
