Old Town 2022 Update - Part 3
Towards Muse

Anyway, I headed in the direction of Muse. The whole area was looking very clean and well maintained.

Future Plans?

A while ago there were plans announced for a building to go up in this park. I think the Church wanted to build another church on it. I can't remember the exact story, but have always been surprised at how under-utilised the area is.
Good Nick

I've reached the junction by the catacombs now. There is a cake shop on the other side of the road, and a tavern here that gets very busy at night.
Down The Alley

I could have taken the road to Muse, but instead I opted for an alley to the right of it.
Old Ruin

There is a ruin down here you can see on the left. A couple of years ago it looked like they were doing it up, but nothing much has happened since. But that's not why I am here. Beyond the ruin, and the car, there is a small alley that leads to Ivis Maliotou Park.

Instead we will be focusing on new additions and places we missed last year. Even so, we took nearly 100 pictures for this blog, so we have split it in two. Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
