The setting was glorious.

A Little Gift

I decided I would leave a little gift for the beachcombers, so I placed one of the gypsum crystals I had found in the sand, and put a ring of pebbles around it, to make it look suitably mysterious. You can just see it in the middle bottom of this photograph.

What I hadn't anticipated, was the effect the diminishing sun's rays would have on the crystal. It lit up like it was charged with electricity.

The only thing that let the cache down was it's size, but we won't go into that here. Instead we shall have a look at the terrain, and see why the cache was called "The Crystal Hill".
