Black Rocks
On one of the few days in April when the Sun was not yet burning down, I decided to do a Blog about fossilised rocks and minerals. I knew the place from 7 years ago when I first researched the whole coastline down to Kouklia. I left my car parked and did a 5 km walk towards Aphrodite Rock. As I had no camera with me at the time, I had to return this year to do the photos for this Blog.
On the whole stretch of coast line I could find only two places with the typical black rock formations where one can find something. So this is the first one.
Crystal Veins
Nearly down to the watch tower at the beach is this huge Rock with little caves.

Crystal Caves
There are also huge boulders laying around which obviously came from the big formation. These have nice minerals too...
Another Closeup
Here's another one nearby with beautiful round minerals.
