The Road Is Long

It would be tempting to avoid this place until the winter, when it is a lot cooler. But imagine what this place would be like after a lot of rain? You would end up covered in mud and an array of chemicals.

Lovely Colour

Some of the colours in the rocks are fantastic. This red often yielded interesting crystals as well. A lot of the crystals here though, are fairly modern, in terms of rock. This means that they are not very robust. You can find a decent crystal and pick it up, only to leave half of it behind. We experienced similar situations when we were exploring the volcanic areas near Roudia Bridge.
