Kissonerga Coastal Promenade

Nearly There

Unfortunately, the fence blocked access to the bridge. You can't see it here because I poked the lens through a hole. It's a shame as the fence seems to be the only thing stopping it from being fully open.

Newly Landscaped

The path continued around the rocks, and looks complete from this end. So I decided to try my luck with approaching the bridge from the other side.

No Access

Unfortunately, it is closed from that end too.

Opening Soon?

To my untrained eye, it looks pretty finished. Does anybody know when it is due to open?

Vardas View

As it stands, the Kissonerga Coast Path is already a lovely walk, and if it is expanded to include the Vardas Beach area it will be better than ever. There is going to be another coastal boardwalk between Coral Bay and Agios Georgios. The official line is that it will be finished in 2026, though I honestly can't see that happening.

But imagine the day that you can walk from St Nicholas Chapel in Geroskipou all the way to Agios Georgios Harbour in Peyia? Won't that be something?
