Ivis Maliotou Park Update
Top Cat

One of the cats was napping on the roof of a car in the car park. In case you didn't know, the nip out of the ear indicates that the cat has been neutered. Now, if you see a cat without a nipped ear, it doesn't necesarily mean that it still has its junk intact. When they neuter domestic cats they often leave the ear alone. I know this because our rescue cats have all been done, yet have un-nipped ears.
Archaeological Park View

I thought I would end with a few pictures from the view point next to Muse. Here we can see the lighthouse in the distance, in the middle of the Archaeological Park.
Moutallos Cliffs

That golden-oak-coloured horizontal gash marks the cliffs of Moutallos.
Chloraka Wreck

You can tell the sea is calm at the moment as there is no white surrounding the wreck.
City Orchard

I will leave you with a view showing one of the reasons I love Paphos so much. There, nestled between a carpark and numerous shops and apartments, you will find an orchard. The city has gradually claimed the area but you will still find pockets of rural life dotted amongst the concrete.
So, will the park be open by Christmas, along with the road next to it? They normally put a nice Santa Sleigh decoration in it, but I appreciate that their deadlines might be based on a more mundane target than jingle bling. When it is ready though, it looks like it is going to be very nice indeed.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
