Another Festival staple is the Pachinko game. Win a prize by playing the yellow pachinko board in the centre of the picture.
Creative Gifts
I'm not sure what category this stall comes under. Hand-made gifts will have to do. They are lovely though, and deserve a closer look.
Easter Tree Decorations?
Some of them have little loops like Christmas Tree Decorations. Indeed, there is even a snowman at the top. I have never heard of Easter Trees though, so presume they are hung on other objects.
Quiet Zone
If you are here with somebody who needs a bit of a timeout, there is a stall set aside just for that purpose, which is a nice touch.
Instagram Selfies
Finally there is a stall where you can sit and pose for a seasonal Instagram selfie.
Full marks to Cap St Georges for putting on the Easter Village. It is well worth a visit and runs for the next two weeks. I will finish by repeating the links to the full brochure, so you can see what is on.

Cap St Georges Carnival 2026
On Valentine's Day the good people at Cap St Georges put on a carnival. Fortunately the recent rainy spell had come to an end, enabling the locals to come out and have a party as the parade trundled past. It was a great success, as our pictures will show you.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
