Calm Seas

Reflections

This is what I was after - some nice reflections in the water.

Calmish

Having said that, even though there are no waves, there are now tiny ripples forming on the surface of the water, so the reflectoins aren't as pronounced as I would have liked. Still, beggars can't be choosers.

One Final Shot

The harbour here is very photogenic, but I really must be moving on. If you have never been to Agios Georgios it is easy to find. Just take the coast road from Paphos to Coral Bay, and carry on until you run out of road.

Cap St George

My next stop for some unusually calm sea shots was the beach at Cap St George. The area around here has changed quite a lot recently. However, the beach is still here, complete with life guard.

The area is a bit of a building site at the moment but there are some nice views to be had if you park up and have a wander.

We had hoped to have some Epiphany Day Celebration photos to show you today. Aphrodite's Wild Beach

Some of the wildest, most beautiful coastline in Cyprus can be found on the Northern reaches of the Akamas, between the Blue Lagoon and Aphrodite's Baths. The easiest way to experience them is to visit Aphrodite's Wild Beach, below the restaurant opposite the baths. So let's take a look...

The Wreck of the Edro III

On a dark and stormy night, back in the winter of 2011, a ship set sail from Limassol with a cargo of plasterboard, bound for Greece. It experienced difficulties near the Sea Caves area, and ran aground in a rather picturesque strip of coastline. Thankfully, all hands were saved, and overnight, a new tourist attraction was born.
