Avakas Gorge
EOKA Hideaway?

As you walk up the gorge you will eventually come across this strange little door in the side of the cliff. I am guessing that this used to be an EOKA hideaway, though I could be wrong. Does anybody know for sure what it is?

Obligatory Picture

If you walk up the gorge you have to take this picture along the way. There is a checkpoint on the way out and if you haven't taken it they send you back.
What On Earth?

Now this contraption completely threw me. How on Earth did they get a pipe into the side of the cliff here? And what is that toilet cistern doing?
Making Progress

If you make it this far then you are getting close to the end of the narrowest section.
Tread Carefully

As the gorge widens you can breathe a bit more easily. At least now if a rock falls down the side of the gorge you will hear it coming as it bounces towards you.
