Aphrodite's Wild Beach
Idyllic Island
We got a closer shot of the island on the way down. One day I shall have to climb up it and take some more panoramas. I did this at the blue lagoon, as you shall see in a couple of weeks. The images came out really well too, which I was pleased with, as it was a fag getting the camera to the island in an underwater bag.
Life Guards
Aphrodite's Wild Beach isn't blue flag. However, it does have an on-duty lifeguard and showers etc, so hopefully that honour will be awarded one day soon. It certainly deserves to be.
Sunbed Scene
As you reach the bottom of the staircase, if you turn right there are a few sunbeds. I don't know if they are monitored, but if they are, it will be the standard €2.50 per sunbed, and €2.50 for a parasol.
Snorkelling Waters
This area is supposed to be very good for snorkelling. We had other things to do when we visited for these pictures, otherwise we would have had a go ourselves. Have you any idea how difficult it is visiting beaches like this, getting all hot and sweaty taking pictures, and not going for a swim?
Calm Waters
The sea here was a lot calmer than further up the coast towards Latchi as well. This will make snorkelling even more enjoyable. We recently went snorkelling on the hotel strip in Paphos, and there were a few waves. It made the water a bit foggy, but it was fun seeing the fish get buffeted by the sea.
