If you go exploring, do be careful. There are a lot of loose rocks about, and I would hate for you to fall and break an ankle.

I took a peek at Kitchener's old map of the area, and this is not labelled as a church. So presumably it was an old farmstead or something. Incidentally, Kitchener also places a church (Agios Georgios, so that narrows it down) at the top of the hill where the shrine was. There is nothing shown for the monastery where we parked, so that must be fairly a modern building.

The sun was thinking about going to bed by the time I had finished poking around in the ruins. This made for some magical scenes.

St Anastasia Sulphur Spring

If you have driven from Paphos to Polis along the B7, you will probably have smelled the Sulphur Springs around Miliou as you drove past. It is a bit challenging but is thankfully soon replaced by the smell of the orange orchards which make up most of the surrounding farmland. When we we visiting the area a few days ago, we spotted a ramblers' sign pointing to the spring, so naturally we stopped to investigate...
