Gyros

These are another Cypriot staple. And they are pronounced Heros, not Gyros.

Chimney Puds

These are nice, and it is fun to watch them being made too.

Taco Town

The Mexican Food Van was dealing out the tacos. I think it was 3 for €10 from memory.

Bouncy Fun

There was also a bouncy castle for the kids. Beer Festivals in Cyprus are a far cry from the drunken affairs I remember from my youth. They are more of a family affair and an excuse to have a good time with some food and music, rather than get wasted. Now, admitedly, my experience of beer festivals was pretty much limited to the one they had at my University, so I am by no means an expert. I wonder how Old Peculiar would go down in Cyprus though. Do they still make that? I think the Firkin Brewery died a death years ago, but I well remember hazy nights of Dog Bolter back in the day. Bizarrely the nicest ale I remember though was served at a rather posh Port and Ale House near Tower Bridge. That was served in proper tankards with glass bottoms, and it went down far too smoothly.

Mini Melts

Um, anyway. There was more sweet treats here, with these cooling ice cream snacks.
