This joint will look familiar to regular readers. We photographed this during the middle of a weekday afternoon, so you wouldn't expect it to be busy. It was, however, open.

We also covered the beach itself. We are showing it again for completeness. To get to the Baths of Aphrodite, just follow the signs. I think they start from Limassol, but most of you will be coming from either Paphos or Polis. Take the B7 from Paphos (or the Polis road from Peyia) to Polis, then turn left up the coast. When you run out of tarmac you are at the baths.

Now, a couple of years ago, we visited the dog beach near here, and compared it very unfavourably to the lovely one they have in Paralimni. We thought we would have another look on our way through, to see if the situation had improved.

As you drive up to the Baths of Aphrodite, you will pass a sign to the dog beach on the right. If you drive down the bumpy road you will find a car park, which leads here. Last time, there was a no entry sign on the left, and the only beach available was rocky like you see how. However, the sign has now been painted green, and there is a prominent path going left.

This is the dog beach now. When we visited, there were a couple of dogs playing with their owners in the sea. Bear in mind though, that during August, this beach is very popular with the local population, and there will be a lot of people here.
