Polis Beaches Part 1

Ttakkas Bay Restaurant

After the dog beach, we come to Takas Bay. The restaurant here was also open. We have noticed that a lot of restaurants are closed on mondays, so bear that in mind if you are visiting then.

Nice Beach

Takas Bay Beach is not a blue flag beach, but it looks like they are headed in that direction. It has a lifeguard station, and plenty of deck chairs, and there are two blue flag beaches further along the bay. Note that there is plenty of space between the deckchairs.

Towards Akamas

There was a fair amount of parking available here, too.

Xistarokambos Beach

We now come to our first blue flag beach of the blog. The restaurant here is very popular, and there are also showers, toilets and changing rooms available. You get here, coming from Aphrodite's Baths, by turning just before Aphrodite Beach Hotel. If you follow the track there you come to a car park by the hotel. The track continues past that though, and winds down to another parking area by this restaurant and some changing rooms.
