Agios Georgios, Choulou
Underneath The Arches
The more intact murals are to be found tucked underneath the stonework, which makes sense.
Saint George Shrine
I've noticed this silver beaten-metal look become more and more prominent in churches in Cyprus.
One Final Mural
Before we go, let's take one final look at that Angel mural.
Church Turning
Anyway, if you want to visit the church yourself, this is the turning you need off the main Letymbou - Choulou Road. You can see the brown sign we mentioned earlier.
From Choulou
And if you should happen to be coming from the direction of Choulou itself, you should take the turning just before this parking area, and drive down. Or park here and walk. You will be able to appreciate the view more that way!
