Met office forecasts higher temperatures until Sunday

Seasonal low pressure is affecting the area and a relatively warm air mass is expected from tomorrow.

Thursday will be mainly fine while there will be increased local cloud locally in the mountains in the afternoon.

Temperatures will rise to 38 C inland, around 32 C on the west coasts, around 34 C on the remaining coasts and around 28 C in the mountains.

Tonight will be mainly fine. Temperatures will drop to 22 C inland and on the west and north coasts, around 24 C on the remaining coasts and around 17 C in the higher mountains.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be mainly fine.

Temperatures will edge up on Friday and Saturday to higher than average for the time of year, remaining at the same levels on Sunday.
