You cannot travel in Cyprus for any distance without coming across some ancient ruins. There are far more antiquities than the authorities can catalogue, so you may find abandoned ruins which in other countries would have an entrance fee and concessions stands. However, just because they are unattended, does not mean you should grab souvenirs. Cypriot Authorities take an exceptionally dim view of people attempting to smuggle out ancient artifacts. The Kissonerga Coast Path first opened a couple of years ago. I visited it at the time, but it has since been extended at either end. So I recently returned for another look.
