So now you know what is inside the tower. A ladder. Presumably it allows engineers to access the generator in the turbine. I would imagine it would be a bit loud in there when the turbine is running, but presumably they switch them off before performing maintenance.

And there's the semi-assembled tower. For some reason, when you see the components, it all looks a bit smaller than when it is fully assembled.

Back in the present day, we can see Archimandrita in the far distance.

We had decided to drive up to Dora and beyond, to do a reccy on a future road trip. However, as we left Archimandrita I took a last look at the wind farm and was stunned with how beautiful it looked.
I love it when Cyprus turns green. Every year it comes as a surprise.
