There was another waterfall just downstream that was a bit more impressive.

Towards Paphos Forest

To follow the water any further we have to leave the comfort of the reservoir and head towards Kannaviou. Let's have a quick look round first. This is the view towards the forest. Again, you can see that the water is pretty choppy.

Towards Kannaviou

We're going down there now. First though, I had to land the drone. This proved trickier than I anticipated, thanks to the wind. I eventually got it down though, during a break in the wind.

The Ezousa River

The Ezousa River does in fact start in the middle of Paphos Forest. This part of it is normally dry, thanks to the dam. So every time the dam overflows, all the debris and mud that has accumulated in the dried-up riverbed gets washed away with the approaching water.
