From Ineia To Lara Bay

There's definitely more here to explore than what we've seen from the road. It isn't a gorge but it is still a fascinating place to visit. I never knew it existed until I flew the drone above it.
Nearly There
Eventually the road down will join the main Akamas Coast Track. This is bumpier than what you have been on so far, so drive carefully.
Go Straight Ahead
Ignore the sign you can see here. It is pointing to Lara Restaurant, which is on a different beach to the Turtle Sanctuary.
This Must Be The Place
Once you see this sign, turn left. The track will eventually lead to a small carpark, which most people seem to stop at. If instead, you turn right and keep driving, you will arrive at the main carpark, which is above the Information Kiosk.
The Movie
In our next article we will take another look at Lara Bay. We shall also be publishing a film showing the entire route by car. That is obviously longer than the film above, and will take more time to upload to Youtube. So stay tuned!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
