Erosion
Towards Akoursos and Peyia
There is lots to explore in that direction, but that will be another journey. There is an interesting rock in the middle of the photo though.
Muffin Top
This is an altogether different type of rock formation. I have no idea what is going on here.
More Close Ups
Let's end this blog with some close ups of the erosion. That crystal vein looks interesting.
Delicate Ridges
When you consider how the winds can pick up in gales, it is surprising that these somewhat delicate structures remain.
So there you have it. The church may be fairly inaccessible by car, but it isn't that remote. You can park on the road and have a pleasant walk down. You can even go further and head down into the valley itself. I am sure the scenery will last longer than those Liesegang rings, but it is well worth checking out.

Liesegang Rings in the Akamas
As 2016 draws to a close we decided to take a final trip to the Akamas. We have been trying to locate some interesting fossils we saw a few years ago, and the last couple of times we had tried we had ended up somewhere else. We found the right route this time though.Good Pages To Visit
