EOKA Countryside
Turning Around

Once I had flown up the gorge I turned the drone around and flew back down again. There was an interesting rock which would have been just to the right (from this direction) of the EOKA hideaway. You can see the green field above it.
Interesting Rock?

Hmm, ok so the rock wasn't that interesting. But there was something about it which piqued my curiosity. Let's take a closer look...
Old Rubbish

What had been puzzling me (in the top right of the picture) turned out to be some rubbish. Looking at it, I think there were a few bottles there as well. It is a very odd place to find rubbish, but look what else is in the picture. Take a look at the bottom left. Somebody has dumped a sofa there! Who on Earth would bring a sofa all the way out here to dump? Or was it originally in the EOKA hideaway and got chucked out when they had a clearout? Whatever the reason, it shows that rubbish dumping is by no means a modern invention.
Unfinished Business

So is there anything interesting hidden away down there? We shall have to wait to find out. I'm in a bit of a dilemma though, because the last time I ignored a possible gorge it turned out to be fantastic. But I could wade my way through a lot of undergrowth here just to find a ditch.
Decisions, decisions...
