Messing About In Boats
Is this a thing in the evenings? I haven't seen them in use during any of my visits.
The Walkway Is Open!
As we reported last sunday, the walkway to Lighthouse Beach and beyond is now open for pedestrians, though it is still being finished. It is a lovely walk too.
Paphos Fort
And next to the walkway you have the castle. Though it is actually a fort. I normally refer to it as a castle because that is what the Tourist Board seem to refer to it as, and using different names would confuse people. But if you hear people talking about Paphos Fort and Paphos Castle, then rest assured, they are talking about the same place.
Finishing Touches
I'm still not sure what this area is going to be when they are finished though.
Setting The Stage
It turns out that there was a show on the night I took these shots. They were setting up a temporary stage in front of the castle.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
