The Main Drag

I want to keep to the left of the main road in this article, as I have already covered the right-hand side. If we turned right here we would see the Chernobyl Mural and Bar. Instead though, we are turning left. Before that though, admire the mural above the main road.
Club U

So we shall turn down the alley in front of Club U. I believe that is a fashion shop? I have to admit to being surprised that they were renovating the buildings on the left, as I think they were painted not that long ago. You can see what they used to look like on Google Street View.

Beyond the hoardings, the light industry was still continuning.

We soon arrive at a picturesque area filled with lots of chatter. One of my favourite murals is here.

I don't know why I like it, but it appeals to me. It's nice to see it has survived the renovations too!

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
