Speaking of Eateries, there is also Oniro next to the wreck of the Edro III. If you fancy some beanbag fun you know where to come.
Kissonerga Coast Path
Here's a nice shot of the Cynthiana Beach Hotel. It is conveniently located near the start of the Kissonerga Coast Path, which is a lovely walk.
Laid Back Lighthouse
It looks like somebody is trying to bring a little order to Lighthouse Beach. The sunbeds are almost in a line now! To be honest, I think most people prefer the laid back approach, so I don't think they need to try and copy the regimental approach of Venus Beach.
Oh and I've said it before and I will say it again: the kiosk here does great, good-value food, and I definitely recommend their BLT.
A New Alyki!
The new beach at St George (I still can't quite call it Alyki) is proving to be very popular, and looks lovely. I just wish they had called it something else.
Attention!
Speaking of regimental sunbeds, here's Venus Beach itself. Moaners please observe that they only occupy half of the beach, which is the allowed ammount. There is plenty of room for your own towel on the floor.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
