Posh Library

Here you can see October 28 Square with the War Memorial in the foreground. Behind it the grand building is in fact the Municipal Library. To the right is the old Police Station. This is being renovated and turned into the Museum of Paphos Documentation. This will be A LOT more interesting than the somewhat dusty title suggests.

Alexander The Great Hotel

Next to SODAP Beach you will find Vrysoudia B, or SODAP's Little Sister, as I tend to call it. This leads up to Alexander The Great Hotel, which is a very popular resort.
Saranta Colones

You need written permission to fly your drone at the Archaeological Park, and have to specify at least a week's notice. Consequently it isn't worth the hassle until the random winter weather has passed. So I will have to make do with the zoom facility of my drone to give you this picture of Saranta Colones, the Outdoor Theatre and the Lighthouse.
If you visit the Archaeological Park, don't just stick to the mosaics. There is a lot more to see.
Thalassa Boutique Hotel and Spa

Coral Bay has received a lot of TLC in the last year. Not only has the Strip been renovated and a Linear Park added, but two of the hotels have been renovated. Thalassa Boutique Hotel Spa is one of them. You can see it here, sandwiched between Coral Bay's two main bays.
Vouni Views

If I had my way, every tourist to Cyprus would be forced to hire a car and go out driving in our lovely countryside. Actually no, that would be terrible. Too many cars. One of the pleasures of the countryside here is the empty roads as you tour around soaking up the beauty. Should you make it to Pano Panagia, park up and allow a couple of hours to follow the Vouni Trail up to this amazing viewpoint. Or hire a 4x4 and drive up via one of the farm tracks that criss-cross the land.
And if you want help finding your way about the countryside of Paphos, then look no further than our Road Trip eBooks on Amazon.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
