Most of the trail will take you through fields of grapes. The other major attraction is the absolutely amazing series of cliffs that dominate the area.

There is quite a lot of waffle on the sign, but if you wade through that you will glean the following:

Hikers on the Vouni Panagias nature trail will have the opportunity to see and learn about the European habitat type 9540 - Pinus brutia forests, which is found at several places along the trail.

The dominant tree in this habitat is the Calabrian pine (Pinus brutia). In the understorey there are several tall and low shrubs: kermes oak, terebinth, rock-roses and other shrubs, subshrubs and herbaceous plants.
