Tsada to Mesogi, the Scenic Route
Turn Right Here

it is quite difficult taking photos here at the moment, as I have to park up, nip out of the car, and take the shot, before any other car appears. If it was cooler I would just park somewhere and wonder around with the camera.
New Stonewear

I think here you can some some of the new road that was laid. They used a similar technique in Kathikas, and it has resulted in one place at least where the surface really squeaks when you drive over it.
Looking Good

Mesogi has a lot more than these few streets to offer. However, it deserves its own blog, so we shall finish up when we get to the church.
Oops

It's a funny old world. I just went to look at Google Maps to find out what the name of the church in Mesogi is. And guess what? It doesn't have a name, at least not on Google Maps. More worryingly still, I just found out that the village I am now in is not in fact Mesogi. No that lies to the west of here. I am in fact currently in Mesa Chorio.
I can only apologise to the good people of Mesogi and Mesa Chorio.
The Church Of Mesa Chorio

I shall leave you with a view of the mystery, unnamed church.
Maps are great, with them you can find new routes you would never locate if you relied on SatNav all the time. So check out some maps of your local area. You will be surprised with what you find.

Tsada The Scenic Way
The usual way to get to Tsada from Paphos is to drive straight up the B7. Occasionally though, we prefer to take a scenic route. There are some nice rock formations along the way too, so we decided it would be a perfect candidate for a blog. It's also worth knowing that you don't have to rely on the B7 to get you up that hill!Good Pages To Visit

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
