Troodos Winter Wonderland
Hard Slog
I am very impressed with my Action Camera. Most of the images used in this article were extracted from the film I recorded. I love this shot, as it pretty much sums up the experience of lugging a heap of camera equipment up the side of a ski slope.
Solo Snowboarder
In the film I made I think I do this chap an injustice. I won't say anything more other than he did eventually make it down the hill.
Troodos From Above
Anyway, I had made it to the top of the hill, so I put down my action camera and unpacked the drone.
Beautiful
I was worried before launching it. There is an observation tower on the other side of the valley here, and there was a chance that the drone would be in a no-fly zone. Fortunately though, this was not the case. I know this because my drone physically won't let me fly in a no-fly zone. So all was good.
As will as the film I made (link at end) I also took a load of aerial pictures. I will include them here over the next couple of pages. Commentary will be pretty sparse because once I have said "It's beautiful but bloody cold" there isn't a lot more to say.
