Water Tight?
Have to admit, if that is solidly constructed, it would be fun to sit in there while a huge storm blows. Imagine sitting in there while waves crashed in front of you?

As you can imagine, the views from the ground floor are not quite as impressive as topside.
Nice to see a few more people on the beach though. And if you are worried about mask wearing, I wouldn't be. Only the waiters were wearing them on the beach.
Well Done Paphos
So well done, Paphos. You have made a great addition to the Sea Front. It looks absolutely stunning, and I am sure it will be a tremendous draw for tourists.

Let us now take a little stroll to towards the harbour. We shall only go as far as the next beach.

Sodap Beach Update
There was recently a bit of a kerfuffle in the press about the new cafe that is being built at the SODAP beach in Paphos. We couldn't help notice that the pictures used all showed the beach from one angle. So we took a New Year's Eve trip down to the coast, to get a clearer picture. Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
