Reservoir Water Levels - September 2025
Paphos Forest
The reservoir is on the edge of Paphos Forest, which is why it looks so beautiful.
Up here you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.
One Final Shot
The pipe that runs from here down to Peyia passes very close to our villa. I know this because a few years ago they accidentally dug it up when they were laying some drainage pipes. The resulting fountain looked like it came straight out of a cartoon. All it needed was a little mouse on top of it.
Asprokremmos
Our final visit is to the Asprokremmos Reservoir. I have to be careful flying the drone here, as part of it is in a restricted area owing to its proximity to the airport. Currently, the Asprokremmos is 12.2% full.
More Mud
Again, there is an awful lot of mud here which could be removed and transported elsewhere. If they don't do this, then the reservoirs will gradually lose capacity as more and more mud gets washed down in the winter rains.
