Polemi Tulips Are Here!
Ready And Waiting

In the main field, the tulips are waiting for you. They are fenced off for a reason. Please don't climb over the fence. You will look an idiot and everybody will hate you. Just enjoy the tulips from the roadside. Even better, they seem to be blooming in abundance right by the fence, so you get the best view there anyway.

Another Drone View

I've made a film of our visit today and that should be published later today.
Not Just Tulips

And it is not just the tulips that are waiting for you. If you visit, take the time to walk the farm tracks around Polemi and enjoy the countryside.

Nature is lovely, and there is a lot of nature in Polemi.
Last Word

We will of course be bringing you a report on the Tulip Festival. This article is just to let you know where and when it is, and why you might like to attend. Traditional Fairs in Cyprus are well worth experiencing first hand, so if you have the opportunity, come up and see the festival for yourself! It starts Sunday, 11AM at Metochi Tavern, Polemi. Once you have seen the tulips, why not try one of the local taverns. You have the Olive Tree in Polemi, the Letymbou Tavern in Letymbou, and a host of other fine eateries in Kallepeia, Stroumpi and Kathikas. You will be spoilt for choice, and the prices are very reasonable.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
