Polemi Tulips Are Here!
In The Wild

They don't thrive in many fields any more, and the main one is fenced off to protect the precious bulbs. However, you can still find some in the verges.
Handy Drone Shot

This is also where a drone comes in handy, as you can photograph them without squashing any.
Not Just Tulips

Of course, it isn't just tulips that are in bloom. A whole host of wild flowers await to be viewed. Please though, if you come to the festival, just look at them. Don't yank them up. There is nothing more unattractive than seeing hordes of supposed nature lovers trampling all over the fields and yanking out plants, only to dump half of them by the side of the road before they get back to their cars.
Festival Information

This year the festival is back in the Metochi Tavern. The above map will show you where that is. The date for your diary is Sunday 2nd April. The festival starts at 11AM. Expect to see numerous traditional stalls, food and dancing. I assume also that somebody will give a speech about the tulips. Once that is over, or before if you prefer, you can wander down to the fenced-off tulip field itself.
This Must Be The Place

It is signposted. Oh I forgot to mention, there is parking in the Square near the tavern, but you are better off parking a bit further out and walking. You will find it a lot easier to get out later.
