The Twelve Churches of Polemi
Get Out More

Not only does it have a lot of churches though. It also has lovely countryside waiting to be explored.

Polemi From Above

The final two shots were taken by our drone. This one shows our beloved Polemi nestled in the countryside.
Distant Polemi Mountain

And this one shows Polemi Mountain! If you don't believe it is a mountain, go to its summit. There is a sign there that proves it. Not only that, but recently I mentioned to a Cypriot man that I lived in Polemi. He replied that a relative of his lived there, near the mountain.
So there you have it. Now, you might well argue that it is in fact Stroumbi Mountain, but that is a can of worms I am not going to touch. Suffice it to say, it is part of a very beautiful landscape.
Tour The Skies
As promised at the start of the blog, we shall leave you with a couple of treats. The first is a little of of the skies over Polemi, captured using our drone.
Polemi Skies - The Movie
The second shows the drone flying over the Polemi countryside. Just think, there are about a dozen churches down there somewhere, in one form or another!

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia.
