Paphos Seafront And Harbour Update
Familiar Faces

The Pelican Restaurant was open again, along with their mascot.

Kokos The Pelican

The first famous pelican known in Paphos was another pink-backed that reached the harbor on his own fully exhausted in 1967. “Grandpa Koko” fully recovered after several meals and never left, media reports said, but he was sadly killed in 1972 when he was hit by a bus. Since then there have been numerous Kokos, including the current incarnation, who replaced a 25-year veteran that died of old age.
New Work

Next to the Pelican Restaurant they had been doing some more work. It looks like they are installing a seating area. In the car park round back there are a couple of large round rocks I filmed a while ago. I wonder if they will become part of this area?
Nice Plant Wall!

At Theo's, the next restaurant along, they now have this really nice plant wall.
Mind The Puddles!

You can see in this shot that there had been some rain earlier in the day. There were a fair few puddles around.
