One Final View
I made my way through the ruins until I could see cars through the windows. Time to return to the main road.
Any idea what used to be here? My website doesn't cover this area but Street View from 2024 shows a gated area with a big "DO NOT ENTER" sign. I guess now that they have knocked the building down it is a bit redundant. Who knows though, in a few years time I may be digging these pictures out again to re-use them. I wonder what the future Paphos Life will look like...

Back To The Ring Road
We are almost done for Part 3 now. It was a bit long and to be honest I merged two parts to make this one, as otherwise the articles would have gone on forever. I shall finish when we get to the Central Bus Station area but for now, let's take in the businesses here. This restaurant is called Θερμοπυλών 71 and again it is traditional Cypriot. Yum yum!
Above it you will find one of the low-cost options for travellers to Paphos. The Bee Hostel is worth a look if you are here on a budget. Mind you, 50 euros for a bunk bed in a dorm seems a bit pricey to me. Am I just out of the loop?
There's one in Limassol too.
Kinky
As well as eateries and an assortment of shops, there is a kinky bar here too. This is very popular at night.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
