Paphos Harbour Point
We are at the Point now. The path now takes a right angle turn. It is convenient to think you are half way when you reach here, but looking at the map, this is only about a third of the way round from the castle.

I'm not sure what they are doing here, but it will no doubt be lovely once it is finished.
Mystery Pillars
Does anybody know what these three concrete blocks were used for. It looks like there might have been some sort of jetty there, but I would expect there to be more of them, coming back to the path.
Future Flower Beds
Imagine what this will look like in springtime when the entire area is painted with colourful flowers?

Recently the Mayor Of Paphos announced numerous contracts for improving the sea front and harbour area. The contracts were not only for the introduction of new facilities though. Some of the money was allocated for maintenance and upkeep of the existing facilities. Paphos Walkway Renovations - July Update
Early last Sunday we went to Paphos Harbour to do some filming. This included a drone flight over the walkway renovations. I was surprised to see that the workers were hard at it, even at 7AM on a Sunday morning. So please, if you look at these pictures, don't try and claim that nothing is being done. Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
