Paphos Coast Path - Part 4 - From SODAP To The Sea Front
Another Lifeguard Station

Take a good look at this, as it is the last Lifeguard Station you will see between here and the Lighthouse Beach. This is for the Municipal Baths, which is our fourth and final Blue Flag Beach today.

Municipal Baths

And there's the beach itself. Not much to look at really, but the waters are great for snorkelling. Most people tend to jump in from the Changing Area you can see in the left of the picture. There is also a little jetty to the left of this shot.
Potential Energy

What the Municipal Baths lacks in sand it makes up for in changing facilities. They are available in two locations; by the outdoor gym and on the jetty by the restaurant.
The toilets could do with a bit of TLC though.
End Of The Line

And that's it for this chapter. We have reached the Sea Front and are now on more familiar ground.
To Be Continued...

In the next installment we shall be walking up to the castle. See you soon!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
