Paphos Beaches
Constantinou Bros

Next to the church are two hotels owned by Constantinou Bros; Pioneer Beach and Asimina Suites. The Pioneer appears to be taking bookings from the 28th of June. I haven't been able to confirm date with Asimina Suites yet, as their website is down. However, Constantinou Bros did have this information on their Pioneer website:
- Free Cancellation until 18:00 on arrival date
- No deposit required
- Payment on Arrival

Towards Paphos

On the other side of the little carpark we found, which appears to be mainly for the benefit of fishermen, lies the Aquamare Hotel. They appear to be taking bookings from 7th July.
Towards Pachyammos Beaches

The area around these hotels is eerily quiet at the moment, save for the occasional chatter of fishermen. In a few weeks time it will hopefully be more lively though. There are two more hotels here, on the approach to Pachyammos 2 Beach.
The first is the Cypria Bay Hotel. This is open from the 1st August.
Pachyammos 2 Beach
This beach is quite small but very pretty. Here's the virtual tour. You can see more pics in the link below.
Cyprus Maris Beach Hotel

This is the Maris Beach Hotel, and it was looking pretty spic and span when we walked past it. It is open from the 16th July, and is very close to the Pachyammos 2 Beach. All these hotels, whether they are close to a beach or not, have wide expanses of grass and pools and lots of sunbeds, so unless you are desperate to make sandcastles, locality to the beach isn't necessarily a deal breaker.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
