After that though, the barrier finished, and we were able to see inside. The first thing we noticed is that they are protecting all the trees, which is nice.

Finally we were able to get a clear view of what is happening. The site reminded me of a TV murder scene, with pathways marked out in chalk. There also appear to be some temporary buildings being erected.

Temporary Restaurant?

Could this be the temporary restaurant they are building to accommodate tourists while the restaurant is reconstructed? If that is the case, I imagine the main construction work will take place only in the off-season.

Here you can see more clearly how they are protecting the trees. So please, no moaning about them being chopped down!

On a dark and stormy night, back in the winter of 2011, a ship set sail from Limassol with a cargo of plasterboard, bound for Greece. It experienced difficulties near the Sea Caves area, and ran aground in a rather picturesque strip of coastline. Thankfully, all hands were saved, and overnight, a new tourist attraction was born.
