Paphos Old Town In 2023 - Part 4
New Seating?
I originally planned on going down here, as it leads to a nice Rose mural. However, the alley next to it caught my eye.
Tylliros Fish Market
Before we go down there, I may as well plug this fish market which is on the corner. One of the things I miss from the UK though, is smoked haddock. It is very hard to come by in Cyprus.
Men At Work
Anyway, let's go down the alley. Note the retractable bollard at the front. It is technically possible to drive down here if you have conrtol of the bollards. I think some shop owners do. While they all seem to descend in the early morning, I think they can be controlled like garage doors by people with the appropriate key fob.
Old Electrical Shop
They are currently doing a lot of work down this alley. This used to be an electrical shop.
TLC Needed
The state of the rear wall shows why renovation was needed here!
