I think on the whole journey, I found one item of rubbish and about five shotgun cartridges. So if you fancy a bit of solitude, this is the place to visit.

Surprisingly enough though, there were signs of humanity, albeit it from a long time ago. There was the remains of a dry stone wall running along one of the ridges. It must have taken ages to build.

It was lovely to visit this area, as it was so peaceful and eerily beautiful. In places it reminded me of the recent shots of the Martian Rover.

I was however, constantly aware of my dwindling water supply. Let's face it, you aren't going to get an ice cream van here.

Distant Ruins

Somewhere in that direction are the ruins I saw at the start of the walk. I shall have to try and find them on the way back.

The Paphos to Polis Motorway - Part 1

A new motorway is coming to Paphos. It will link the existing A6 motorway to the North West coast of the island, reduce travel time, and aid congestion on the B7. That's the plan, anyway. Alternatively, it will destroy precious natural areas and be an expensive waste of money. We decided to take a look at the proposed route for ourselves, so now at least you will know exactly where the motorway will go. Possibly.
