Kato Paphos In Springtime
Here Comes The Sunset

There was definitely a lack of cloud.

However, the scenery made up for it. You can't beat a good silhouette.
Sunset and a Reflection

I think the nice reflection from the infinity pool made up for the lack of clouds. Otherwise there would be too much going on. The Almyra is a lovely setting, and I would also like to say how impressed we were with the buffet we had there that night. Our daughter especially appreciated that they had labelled all the food that contained gluten, as she has a wheat allergy and has to avoid it. The more places that do this, the better. So thank you for that, Almyra.
Now The Clouds Appear!

Once the sun had set, the clouds did appear more prominent. They were bathed in some stunning colours. The perfect end to a spring Paphos Day.
And Finally...

I took this shot using my phone, in between shots using my usual camera. I used the phone so I could post it immediately to our Facebook Chat Group. It shows, hopefully, that you don't necessarily need an expensive camera to take a lovely picture.

Cyprus Orchids
If you only visit in the heat of summer, you could be forgiven for thinking that a lot of Cyprus is like a desert; brown and arid. However, the truth is somewhat different. During Spring, most of Cyprus is green, as recent blogs will have shown. Not only that, but spring flowers come out to bloom, painting the hills and valleys with a sea of colour. If you are lucky, or you know where to look, you will also come across fields of orchids...Good Pages To Visit

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
