Kato Paphos Part 2 - The Sea Front
Fisherman's Friends
Ok, so we are now on the other side of the Municipal Baths. Somebody else has just been photographing the statue.
Pro Tip
If you are out and about, you may find yourself needing to spend a penny. Public toilets aren't widely advertised in Paphos, but there is one just ahead. You will find it if you walk up to the restaurant. It is directly on its left.
This area is very popular with swimmers. You will often see loads of kids running and diving off the little jetties.
This is another place I have never eaten, but it always seems very popular.
The Beach
This little stretch of seaweed-covered area is the Sea Front's main beach. The area is actually blue flag status, though the sandy part is quite small. There are normally sunbeds to the left of this picture. This is a great place to go snorkelling. We filmed a beautiful turtle here a year or two ago. It was fantastic. In the distance you can also see changing rooms, and there are more toilets there to. To the right of that there is a lifeguard station.
If you carry on down the coast path you will find more beaches, some of which are very nice and sandy. But this is a great place to come to cool off.
Turtle Power - The Movie!
And here is the aforementioned film. I actually recorded it last September, so it was more recent than I thought.
