A short walk through the countryside around Kallepia
Spring Blossom

As well as the spring blossom, if you walk to the left of the bench you will spot an interesting cave.

Interesting Cave

Well I found it interesting anyway. From a distance at least. If you bother to get right up to it it loses some of its charm, and doesn't descend into a massive anti-chamber or anything impressive like that.
Down We Go

So, back to the track and continue down into the valley. The descent here is quite steep, so take your time.
Drinking Water

Eventually you will come across this drinking fountain, complete with bench and maintained litter-bin. I have no idea whether the water is actually drinkable or not, we have always stuck to bottles on our walks.
Oh, speaking of bottles, if you do take bottled water with you, please keep the bottles with you and dispose of them in an environmentally-friendly fashion later. I get fed up with finding bottles discarded by ramblers in remote locations. People come to these places to enjoy the scenery, so why ruin for others by leaving your rubbish behind? Take it with you!
Old Bus Stop

This bus stop always makes me smile. The road from here to Episkopi is not exactly bus-friendly. However, we want to take a different route, so turn RIGHT when you get here. Do not cross the stream. We are going back up the hill by a different route.
And if you are tired, by all means stop for a break, but don't expect to get on a bus. You will be waiting a lifetime for one to show up.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
