To The Mines
Anyway, on to the main event. To visit the Magnesium Mines, just follow the long nature trail from Smigies Picnic Area. You can also drive there in a decent 4x4.
The Smelter
This structure looks fairly modern in comparison to the graves. The Magnesium Mine was still in use for most of the 20th century.
Ore Processing
The ore dug from the mine would be processed here to extract the magnesium.
To The Mines
There were two main mines here, though apparently there are quite a few others dotted around too.
Gated Community
We chose the mine with the gate.
