George's Ranch Hack
Polite Horses

The horses are obviously well trained, and waited until they were off the decent path and onto more dusty terrain before relieving themselves.

And if you were worried that the drone was getting a bit too close to the horses here, then relax. These shots were taken by Alex, as you will soon see.

This could be a scene from a Spaghetti Western!
Hello Alex!

This shot shows the horses tackling one of the more challenging parts of the trail. If you look carefully you can see Alex perched on a rock between the two riders.
Back To The Ranch

We shall leave the horses there, as they ride back to the ranch. I did try following them with the drone but the cliffs in the area meant I had to run through some rather overgrown fields and I eventually came to a big fence. Rather than attempt to climb it I found my way back to a main road and met up again with Alex.
We would like to thank George's Ranch and Cap St George for allowing us to film a hack and for putting together a riding team that we were able to film with the drone. Check out their websites using the links above for more information on the ranch and the resort.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
